About the St Marks Orthodontic Partners

Karen graduated in dentistry from Guys hospital in 1989 and was appointed Consultant Orthodontist at Ashford Hospital in 2001. Here she is actively involved in the training and lecturing of Specialist Registrars and senior trainees up to Consultant level. She has lectured to national orthodontic groups and dental societies and is a past chairman of the trainees group of the British Orthodontic Society.

Claire graduated in Dentistry from University College Hospital in 1986 and was appointed Consultant Orthodontist at Kingston and Ashford Middlesex Hospitals in 1997. She is currently working solely at Ashford Hospital and trains Specialist Registrars and senior trainees up to Consultant level. She lectures widely on Orthodontic subjects to GDP’s, Postgraduates and Orthodontists. She was the Ashford Postgraduate dental tutor, is a past chairman of the local British Dental Association and an examiner for the University of London.

Liz graduated in Dentistry from The Royal London Hospital in 1987 and was awarded the MOrth medal in 1994. She was appointed Consultant in Orthodontics to the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and King’s College Hospital in 1999. In 2002 she moved to Kings College Hospital Dental Institute to concentrate on postgraduate teaching and the provision of multidisciplinary treatment. Liz is an examiner for the University of London and lectures on a regular basis.

Dr Nichola Sant
MSc BDS FDS RCSEd MOrth RCS

Nichola graduated from University of Bristol in 2000. She qualified from the Royal London Hospital in Orthodontics winning the MSc research prize and was runner-up in the British Orthodontic Society prize for best-treated cases in the MOrth examination. She was awarded her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2007.
